I try to share the wonder I find in nature. Some of my paintings are recognizable as landscapes and others are more abstract. I believe living with artwork that reflects nature helps us maintain a connection to the natural world. While my work has ranged from photography to drawing and acrylic painting, I’ve recently begun to focus on painting with oil paints and cold wax medium (a combination of bees wax and mineral oil). This medium is more forgiving; and therefore more liberating, which allows me to drift into the abstract/impressionistic more easily using layers and texture.Visiting artist exhibiting at Deb Docsa Studio 232 Reems Creek Road.
